Civil Rights Trip (Alabama) - From June 21-25, Zion is hosting an Intergenerational, Cross-cultural Civil Rights Trip to Alabama. We have 50 people going this year. A presentation on the experience will be shared at worship on June 26, 2022.


Juneteenth Worship Celebration - Join us on June 19, 2022 at 10am at Patriots Gateway Community Center for a Juneteenth Worship Celebration.  We will have various communtiy speakers, song, dance, and communion.


Zion's HistoryZion was founded by immigrants from Sweden. As the neighhborhood around Zion changed in the 1980's, Zion began intentinal outreach to the Laotian community. They held Sunday afternoon fellowship for spanish speaking people in the 1990's. 

Around the TableOn Sunday after worship, an intergeneration and multicultural group gathers in the youth room for a simple meal and conversation to build cultural competance across lines of race and ethnicity.  Join us June 12, 2022 for a conversation about "Juneteenth".

Taste of Zion - Every May, this ethnic gathering celebrate the diversity of food from the African-American, Swedish, Mexican, and Asia cultures. 


Cultural Celebration - In February of each year, we gather to celebrate varioius cultural groups in the church community. In 2019, we gathered to celebrate the "year of the woman" and had various speakers participate.
