Memorial Fund |
 |
|
| |
| The church always has needs for
its continual growth. Memorial gifts help meet those
needs.
How to Give:
Gifts are normally given in cash or by
personal check, sent to the Memorial Committee at Zion
Lutheran Church. All gifts are acknowledged to the donor
by the church.

Purpose:
The memorial contributions make it
possible for us to:
 | Provide funds to enhance the
beauty of our church and grounds |
 | Facilitate the spreading of the
Gospel |
 | Help in reaching persons of all
ages |
 | Build leadership with scholarship
assistance |
 | Furnish modern innovations that
make it more convenient to do the work |
 | Honor someone living or deceased |
Our church and its ministries have
greatly benefited from the generous memorials, which
have honored the lives of Zion members and brought glory
to God for all to remember.
How to Establish a
Memorial:
 | A gift is given to the church in
memory of a person and a memorial is established
with the Memorial Committee. |
 | The secretary of the Committee
acknowledges to the donor all gifts that are
received. |
 | The funds are held in the
person’s name until the family and the Committee
designate where the funds are to be expended.
|
There are two types of
memorials administered by the Memorial Committee:
 |
For a particular
furnishing in the church or ministry of the church.
|
 |
For living memorials,
which are kept in designated funds, which draw
interest and are used as needed by
the ministries of the church. |
