Interested in Becoming a Member?

Consider attending a New Members’ Program! These lively and informative gatherings provide a comfortable setting for those who are searching for a deeper relationship with God. For those who are transferring from another congregation or if a person is searching how they can become connected with a church, this two sessions program provides an excellent introduction for meaningful church participation.

The purpose of this New Members’ Program is:

	Meet new friends.
	Claim or rediscover what it means to be a Child of God.
	Discover one’s spiritual gifts and how he/she can use these gifts to serve the Lord everyday.
	Become a baptized member of Zion Lutheran and commit ones life to be Christ follower.

The New Members’ Program is a two session event and we encourage participants to attend both sessions. The group gathers from 11:30 until 1:00 p.m. in the Youth Room. Nursery services are provided for small children. A light lunch is served. For those who have not been baptized, instruction and guidance are provided.

The upcoming New Members’ Programs for 2006 are as follows:
May 21 and June 4 with reception into the congregation on June 11, 2006 at the 10:30 a.m. service.

September 10 and 17 with reception into the congregation on September 24, 2006 at the 10:30 a.m. service.

November 5 and 12 with reception into the congregation on November 19, 2006 at the 10:30 a.m. service.
